About Glenna Tabor

“Glenna Tabor is very professional. She puts everyone at ease and is just a joy to be around.” Assistant Principal, Hamilton County, TN

Glenna Tabor is most proud that 8th grade students would rather miss P.E. than stop learning mathematical concepts during Tabor Rotation. She loves the fact that during Tabor Rotation every student is on task, engaged, and communicating with each other!! She is on a mission to help teachers, schools, and districts implement highly effective strategies for doing what is best for all students!

Here’s how she came to this mission…Glenna Tabor started her career in the Albuquerque Public School system. After five years, she moved to Maryland and worked in Prince George’s County Public Schools. There she developed new teaching strategies which were so effective, she soon started consulting with other schools in the district. The results in the classroom and the increase in state test scores were so significant that she was soon presenting her educational theories alongside other noted educators such as Jay McTighe, John Brown, and Robert Marzano. This time period also marked the birth of Tabor Rotation, the highly successful framework for differentiating instruction which she created and cultivated.

Students engaged in mathematics. Now, that's what Tabor Rotation is about!

In 1997, Glenna started her own educational consulting company so she could “spread the word.” Since then she has been traveling the country as a nationally noted theorist and professional development consultant. During this time, Glenna’s instructional techniques have been featured in ASCD teleconferences and media productions as well as numerous publications across the country, including the Washington post and Reader’s Digest. As a powerful change agent in education, Glenna continues to provide a dynamic approach to educational training which has been advantageous to theorists and practitioners alike.

I enjoyed the ways in which you not only taught us how to work with students, but you also modeled these strategies! Most, if any, would not do their presentations in this way.” Teacher, Prince George’s County, MD

Over 1 million students have been impacted by Tabor Rotation!
